Mortgage Professionals
Recent changes in the mortgage lending industry prohibits lenders from using appraisals that were ordered by mortgage brokers in many cases. These changes went into effect on May 1, 2009. See AboutTheHVCC for more information. FHA recently adopted similar changes.
Compline Group's appraisers are VA and FHA qualified. Check out our online order management system for online ordering, status updates, and report delivery.
Please remember that we aren't psychic - we actually have to do an appraisal before we can tell you what the property is worth. That requires research, and enough time to do it. We don't have a "magic button" that tells us what your property is worth today. (Or yesterday.) If you need a preliminary analysis we will be glad to provide a restricted use appraisal report with a limited scope of work, but we do charge for our time and expenses. The Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice require us to maintain a workfile on these "comp checks" for at least five years. This storage expense is factored into our fees for these limited-scope appraisals

Please note that this goes against our sense of fair play, not to mention our professional ethics. We won't do it. But we'll be glad to give you a professional, unbiased appraisal which you can take to court.
